Reinalisa is a native Chicagoan who currently resides in Nashville TN. Drawing from the rich cultural tapestry of her upbringing, she brings a unique perspective to her designs. The name 'Sala' holds special significance—in English, it translates to 'Room' or 'Living Room’, and it embodies more than just a space; it reflects her memories of resilience, warmth, and creativity. As a young child, she would watch her mother skillfully transform their home with limited resources, turning modest and unassuming spaces into warm and welcoming havens filled with love and character. This early exposure towards design sparked a lifelong appreciation for spaces that feel both functional and inviting, inspiring her to create interiors that honor individuality and radiate comfort and style.

Reinalisa gained her education from Columbia College Chicago and Watkins College of Art, Design, and Film, where she earned a BFA in Interior Design. With a clear vision deeply centered on heritage, culture, history, and a profound appreciation for architecture and design, Sala Design Company was formed. Her belief towards design is thoughtfully nurtured with the purpose of achieving functionality, yet it is infused with soul that gives each project its unique character.
